Michael Vennard is the 2012 Calder Clarion 25 mile Time Trial Champion.

He becomes a double champion after winning the 50 mile TT earlier this season.

He won the event, which was included in the Drighlinton BC open event held on 4th August in  North Yorkshire.

Following four second places in the Calder evening 10 series and finally a win 3 days before the 25 Championship, Michael continued with a win here in  57:50 which gave him a clear winning margin over 2nd placed Jonny Croston who missed the hour mark by a frustrating 11 seconds.

Rob Hudson was 3rd with 1:01:43 just ahead of Martin Price who recorded 1:02:12.

Paul Lee was 5th with 1:03:05, beating Andrew Spittlehouse who recorded 1:03:20.

Cheryl Trueman, riding for Team Swift, was 1st woman with 1:08:57
